Soluble fibre is great and therefore a must because it absorbs water and forms a gel that helps slow down food as it passes through your digestive system. Science has shown that this fiber promotes weight loss as it helps you feel full, making you feel less hungry so you eat less. Research has also shown that it may also decrease the number of calories your body absorbs from food.
